The Farmer’s Market.is a Fruits and Vegetables producing and marketing company incorporated in 2014 with the office located in Tema in the Greater Accra Region. The company supplies supermarkets in Accra and Takoradi and also conducts house-to-house supplies to households in Accra, Tema and is currently exploring avenues in the mining communities in the Western and Ashanti regions of Ghana. rmer’s Market sources fruits and vegetables such as (check list) from the company’s own farms and a network of smallholder farmers for the local market and also import to complement its local varieties.
‘The Farmer’s Market’ aims at providing a complete solution to the supply of fruits and vegetables in Ghana and beyond. Fresh fruits and vegetables are very special produce; they are the only commodities that stays alive till they are consumed and therefore require a great deal of specialized care and attention from the farm to the table. Local Produce of International Standard; There has been a growing concern about the sources of fruits and vegetables lately; with regards to inappropriate application of agrochemicals. This is where The Farmer’s Market comes in; with great expertise and experience in the supply chain (from production to table). The Farmer’s Market is positioned to produce and supply all year round. Most of our smallholder farmers have their farms along the banks of the white and the black Volta where there is access to good water for irrigation all year, and we ensure Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) are adhered to so the quality of our produce is unquestionable. Because we have our own farms we offer the best quality and provide the widest range at all times and at the most competitive prices.
