You can expect a flavoursome, succulent joint for hot roasting if you choose a leg of lamb or a melting, pull apart soft meat cooked long and low if you choose a shoulder of lamb. Both recipes are outlined on our website to help you cook with confidence.

Delivery available on a Good Friday, please check out our delivery area and minimum order.

Happy birthday to us 🥳

Mostly, Will and I concentrate on the small things that we can control.

This week, an example, our birthday - yes, we share a birthday (yes, it was weird when we found out).

We spent the day putting to bed our dahlias for the winter. We cut them down and decided to tuck them up under the fleeces of our 60 sheep … we were paid just £35 for this wool last year and it takes us half a day to pack and get it in to the collection depot - no point.

Over coffee we went online, birthday shopping - new clothing (we’re desperate) who should we shop with?

And we found these folks … … natural fibres, carefully sourced, British manufacturers, fair pricing … what’s our point?

Well, to turn a supertanker you have to go steadily. We have invested our hard earned cash in a retailer that has laid out a clear mission we whole-heartedly support. We’ll probably be composting our wool for the next few years, but who knows, if we support these bright sparks who commit with knowledge and passion to changing habits, there might be a future for our fleeces one day?

Beyond clothing? Carpets? Curtains? … just saying … 🐑🌱💕

Meg was super excited to ‘go-live’ on Tuesday with the lovely Toni McDonald on BBC H&W and share the news about the Gold Medal winning display.

With mobile jammed against one ear and finger in the other (!) she chatted about the buzz around the display and how starting conversations about funeral wishes was so important.
