In 2008 Hampshire County Council were awarded the Compassion in World Farming’s Good Egg Award as a result of sourcing our Free Range Eggs for Hampshire Schools and Care Homes.

We would just like to say a big thank you to everyone that has supported us today by choosing us for their coffee, breakfast, lunch & brunch.
Yesterday was a rather demoralising day with a quiet cafe for most of the day.
We know everyone wants to try the new café bar that has just opened - it's exciting, it's new, it's an adventure - but please don't forget all the wonderful independent cafes in New Milton.
Instead of making money for faceless, absent and distant shareholders, us independent businesses keep families fed, mortgages & rent paid and, most importantly, keep your hard earned cash in the local economy by spending it locally at other small businesses for our goods & ingredients. (We use local bakeries & butchers & greengrocers & nearly all of our non commercial electric goods come from Hardys the Electrical Store! ). Chain restaurants broker cheap deals with multinational companies to get cheap prices. Provenance doesn't come into it.
So please, keep up your support for the "little ones" including but not limited to us, The Quench Coffee Shop & Eatery , Poppins (a franchise run by an independent), Cafe Mallard, The Garden Cafe, The Super Brothers Arms, Cookies Corner & Bake.
We're still here for you serving you up beautiful home cooked and hand made food using local suppliers without the benefit of a big company's money behind us (the biggest hospitality chain currently in the UK according to news reports widely available on Google).
We all, I'm sure, look forward to seeing you soon.

(2 slices of thick cut Hampshire smoked back bacon, a Hampshire pork GF sausage, 2 X hash browns, 2 X local Fluffetts Farm eggs, baked beans (or fresh field mushrooms, sliced & lightly sauteed in rapeseed oil or even both!) and a slice of thick cut local bakery bread or GF bread on the side)
All our food is grilled or steamed here too - no deep frying ☺️
