Juicy Fruits has a fantastic selection of food for wild birds & squirrels. This section has been incredibly popular, so we have expanded it twice recently. Most of the bags are £1.

The range we stock is all best quality, not cheap and nasty, providing the best nutrition:

Bird seed mix
Peanuts
Sunflower seeds
Sunflower hearts
Maple peas
Monkey nuts
Premium fat balls
Berry suet balls
Mealworms
Nutty suet pellets
Mealworm suet pellets
Insect suet pellets
Berry suet pellets
Mixed suet pellets

And the latest addition is premium Duck and Swan feed (kibble). People like to feed the ducks and swans, unfortunately most commonly used is bread. All this does is bloat them with no nutrition. Our Duck and Swan kibble is proper food, you get a decent bag for £1.

Hi folks. We are well stocked up with quality multipurpose compost, top soil and bark chippings. Soon we will be adding grow bags.

We will be offering deliveries as well, for local destinations with car access. The days of me lugging these sacks all over the place are over, because of a bad back, so as long as I can back my car up to where the sacks are going to be put down, that’s fine. To try and make the delivery price fair, it is £1 extra per sack.

Hi folks. We have had our first few of types of wreaths, these are the very good quality silk flower rings and crosses; plus beautiful boxed Wreaths both large and small at very good prices.

This week we should be getting some plants and small trees for Christmas. Next week we will start to receive the holly wreaths as well.

Hi folks. It’s my first post on this page of 2025. Things have been extremely tough this year, not only for us but I would think the majority of small businesses.

Wednesfield High Street is just about to get a lot of cosmetic work carried out, which we have been waiting years for. It was approaching five years ago that the community was awarded £3.5 million to supposedly spend on what we, the community and business owners, thought would help improve footfall. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any of what we wanted because the council turned it all down. So we have a bunch of cosmetic tasks being carried out that probably will not make a difference other than the place looking a bit nicer. I suppose that is at least a positive.

The High Street remains resilient though, despite obstructions from our esteemed council and whatever the government throws at us small businesses. It is beyond belief, small businesses generate the majority of the UK’s economy. You would think the government would encourage us and build confidence to employ, strengthen, invest. But no. Of course not.

Anyway, tightening the belt of this business a small amount, we are having to close a little bit earlier each day.

So now we are open six days a week from 9am until 3.30pm….. with the exception of Thursday afternoons when we close at 2pm.
