Annnnnddddd just like that the weekend is done and dusted! It’s been a really busy time for us both in the shop and out with lots of things going on. Very much enjoyed our daughter down for a few days as she had left her job of 8 years with Harrods and started her new role today. Good luck gorgeous! We had a lovely afternoon at the spa Weds, company for a hospital appointment Thursday and then she did some cooking with us Friday. Of course I live in hope that we can palm off the shop onto her and retire - but that’s never gonna happen 😆😘. The fireworks at Watchet were simply stunning and watched from our garden as we are blessed with dogs that aren’t affected, I really feel for all people / animals who are. I start my Chairman duties this week with the Bicknoller Flower Show, and managed to double book with the Chiropractor (she’s awesome if anyone needs a pointer) 🤨.
Back to our usual busy Monday of creating and concocting - so lots ready to go out tomorrow. We have a pizza frittata - not often I do a meat one, but had some delicious salami and mozzarella to use. Ivor has made a Beef and Vegetable Pie as well as some 2 people Turkey, Ham and Mushroom Pies. Tomorrow I’m back into Chocolate dipped and yoghurt flapjack creation, oh and some of those huge cookies as they went down well.
