The role:

• Making and preparing biltong
• Making sausages and other butchery products
• Maintaining food hygiene standards

You’ll need to be:
• Comfortable working on your feet all day
• Reasonably physically fit
• Reliable and hardworking

Experience preferred:
• Butchery or biltong making
• Food hygiene knowledge

✔ Permission to work in the UK

Perfect for someone who enjoys meeting people, being outdoors, and sharing a love of Southern African food and culture
What you’ll be doing:
• Running our market and event stalls
• Setting up and packing down the stand
• Engaging with customers and selling our products
• Representing The Sussex Biltong Co. brand
You’ll need to be:
• Friendly and confident with customers
• Comfortable working solo
• Happy working outdoors in all weather
• Reasonably physically fit (lifting and set-up required)
• Knowledgeable about Southern African food & culture
Requirements:
✔ Own transport to get to our HQ (you’ll use a company van for the market kit)
✔ Clean driving licence
✔ Permission to work in the UK
