My little companion for shepherding, meet Melanie. Born from Arthur’s Ryland ewe Rita, crossed with a Lleyn tup. Arthur wants to keep her to introduce to the flock as a mum of the future. I have to say I don’t mind that idea, she’s a good un! She’s grown a lot in 10 weeks too!

Some updates from the farm! New piglets and lambs and kids growing, despite the awful conditions they have had to endure this season! 🚚This week Ben will be delivering on Thursday, send your orders through by Tuesday afternoon!

Good afternoon to you all! We have great news on this rainy day- this weekend we will be opening the pop up butchery again.

This Saturday morning 10-1pm.

If you haven’t visited us before we’re just off the A5 between the A5 and the village of Litchborough on the main road.

We will mainly have our own pork and goat, as well as home cured streaky Bacon & handmade Sausages. We may have other items available to order in advance (let us know by Thursday night for other meats) chicken, lamb and beef. We will then have this ready for you to collect on the morning as well.

We will select you £40 worth of fresh meats to suit the season - and you will pay just £30! Possible contents include: Homemade sausages and burgers in assorted flavours, diced or minced meats, steaks or chops, grill cuts or skewers, small joints or oven roast cuts, cured meats or bacon
(Boxes will not contain everything as a random roulette selection will be chosen for you, could be Pork, lamb, beef, goat or chicken).
Everything will be suitable for home freezing, let us know of any specific requirements.
