So today has been a bit of a mad rush! Arrived back from last nights delivery round and straight back onto the farm preparing the ground in our squash field ready to sow 20,000 broad bean seeds ready for next year. We started by rotavating then followed with the cultivator for a neater finish. Just as I attached the seeder to the tractor and loaded the hopper with broad bean seeds the rain arrived, which I was hoping to beat! We managed two rows before it just became too wet for the seeder. Frustrating but still plenty of time to get them in the ground!
