Post Office Customers - Help us to help you

We are rapidly approaching our busiest time of the year in the Post Office & there are a few things that can help our peak times run smoother

* Post box Collection times - 10am & 4pm Mon-Fri and 10am Sat. Please bring all post in good time, at least 30min before collection times. Cut off for parcels is 10min prior to the box collection.

* Come prepared - please make sure any QR codes or barcodes on devices are downloaded or screenshots (DO NOT photograph computer screens) - signal is patchy on some networks inside the shop - please put brightness up to maximum on devices.

* Please check return instructions, especially for Amazon & check how your parcel needs to be presented to us.

* Please follow signage in store to queue the correct way, this avoids confusion & delay as people reach the counter.

* If sending internationally, please try to complete customs details prior to visiting the post office and bring your reference number - this dramatically reduces waiting times. Customs forms can be filled in here: https://www.postoffice.co.uk/icdc/?

Please remember, we are a single counter Post Office & while we try our very best to serve quickly and efficiently, some transactions do take longer than others. From the start of November we see an increase of International post, these are time consuming to process and may result in longer queue times.

Thank you 😊
