❗Tyndale Vets which covers the south west of England and the south of Wales has warned livestock farmers: "Early clinical signs include rapid breathing, teeth grinding and muscle weakness before progressing to seizures and paralysis.

The plant can be recognised by its tuber root, and its central stem has purple/reddish splotches which become more pronounced as the plant develops.
