Here’s a real honesty post - we really thought the colour run was going to be a massive hit and a great way to fundraise for the school. For whatever reason, this hasn’t been the case and ticket sales have remained very slow. Maybe it’s too expensive (we blame the paint for that!), maybe it’s a bad choice of date, maybe we didn’t advertise enough, maybe it’s just not of interest…whatever the reason/s we are now considering if the event is still viable.

We have booked 11 stall holders and 3 food vans and with the current footfall, it’s just not going to be worth their while. Today is the last day of ticket sales, so if you were going to book and haven’t got round to yet, please still book and we will make a decision based on final numbers tomorrow morning.

We’ve poured our hearts into this - months of planning meetings, risk assessments, organising volunteers, stalls etc etc so cancelling will be a last resort. If we do cancel, all stall holders & food vans will receive their deposits back and everyone who has booked will be refunded in full. Hopefully we’ll get enough bookings in the end 🤞🏻
