Sandwich Maker & Counter Assistant
Location: Pen*stone High Street
Job Type: Full-time (flexible hours available)
Role Overview:
As a Sandwich Maker & Counter Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing fresh sandwiches and serving customers at the counter. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where customer service and food quality are key.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing sandwiches, pies and other deli items to a high standard as well as basic butchery products
• Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Handling payments and operating the till
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the food prep and service areas
• Stocking displays and keeping the counter well-presented
• Assisting with general shop duties as required
What We’re Looking For:
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Previous experience in food preparation or a Butchers shop is essential
• Reliability and punctuality
