We are a family run farm that takes great pride in rearing and caring for all of the animals that we have. We only sell meat from animals born and reared on our small farm in Cornwall, so you can be sure of its exact trace-ability. Our Lambs are fed on the grass in our fields and the Hay or Haylage that has been cut from our fields. Our pigs are fed on Fruit and Vegetables that are grown on the fa
rm purposely for the pigs alongside highly nutritional pig nuts, they love nothing more than a few Blackberries. We like to ensure that all of our animals have access to the outdoors, the sheep can graze the grass and the Pigs can graze or muzzle through the ground for tasty grubs and worms. We use a local abattoir which is close to the farm this ensures less stress to animals; the meat is then collected by our professional local butcher who will then joint and pack the meat ensuring that it is clearly labelled so that you know what you are getting. All of the meat that you will receive will be fresh and chilled ready to cook and or put in the freezer. LAMB
The lambs that we rear will generally produce medium sized delicious carcasses that we get direct to you, the customer. They graze on our grassland and grow naturally there is no hurrying the process, we believe that this improves both the taste and the texture of the meat. Lamb’s are therefore generally only available in season, from September to October/November, as we do have some hill sheep we do generally tend to also have lamb available in January/February, as hill sheep need longer to come to their optimum weight ad condition, extra time which we are happy to give them. Once butchered a HALF lamb takes up just under a shelf in an average upright freezer, a WHOLE lamb will take up about one and a half shelves in an average upright freezer. What will you get:

Weights: Weights will vary, whole lamb carcasses range between approx 15-26kgs, Half lamb carcasses will range between approx 8-13kgs. PORK
All of our pork is naturally raised, our pigs have access to the outdoors where they can forage for plants, roots, and whatever else they can dig up. We feed our pigs on Fruit and Vegetables that are grown on the farm purposely for the pigs alongside highly nutritional and wholesome pig nuts and as with our lambs all pigs are naturally grown and allowed to grow at their own rate. Pork is generally available throughout the year, as of next year we are aiming to be able to provide weaner and Store pigs that you can rear yourself if you wish. Once butchered a HALF Pig will take up approx 1 ½ - 2 shelves within an average upright freezer and a WHOLE pig will take up approx. 3-4 shelves within an average upright freezer. What will you get:

Weights: Weights will vary, whole Pig carcases range between approx 45-60kgs, Half Pig carcases will range between approx 23-30kgs. PLEASE NOTE:
