Fire, smoke, steak... and coffee

It's Street Food Summer Social this weekend - our once-a-year community get together, with some ace street food and drink treats in store, DJs on the tunes, and stuff for the kids to do too 😀

Gaucho Stu will be firing up the Asado BBQ and serving authentic Argentine flavours, including steak sandwiches, pork belly and flame-cooked barbecue faves🔥🥩

Plus, Lauren from Ginger & Blue will be on hand with speciality coffee, hot drinks and seasonal specials, served from her class vintage Renault Estafette coffee van. Lauren's been keeping event-goers caffeinated since 2019, so you're in safe hands ☕💙

It's almost July, so get ready for another amazing Ruddington village market! Let's meet three stallholders we cannot wait to visit.

First up is the lovely Snail and Rabbit Loose Leaf Tea Shop. If you're looking for a tea-riffic gift, something delicious to sip on, or you're a tea-fanatic like me, then you absolutely cannot miss these guys!

Next we've got The Jam Lady nottingham who will be bringing a fabulous selection of jams, chutneys, and preserves that are simply divine on fresh bread from some of our other village heroes! Seriously, there is nothing better than homemade jam on toast on a Sunday morning!

Finally, the blooming wonderful folks at Phoenix Flowers will be bringing their gorgeous fresh flowers and seasonal arrangements that brighten up any home or make brilliant gifts.

Back by popular demand after their last visit in Sept '25, Syiok-lah will be serving up authentic Malaysian style at Street Food Summer Social this coming Saturday, including rice bowls, noodles, curries and bao buns... full of the flavours that earned them all the fans when they last came to Rudd🔥

Next in, RVM friends Dough A Deer Wood Fired Pizzas will be firing up their wood-fired oven and serving their fantastic Neapolitan pizzas. No strangers to the village green now, and always one ace to have them again 🍕👌

🍞 Turners Quality Bakery Ltd - Fresh bread, rolls, cakes and pastries, perfect for sandwiches, sweet treats and everything in between.

🍪 Polly & Crumbs – Brownies, blondies, tray bakes, cookies and cookie pies that are guaranteed to disappear first from the picnic blanket!

Caribbean spice or a proper roast cob? Why not both?

Nottingham favourites Yello Yard bring their awesome Jamaican deli street food to our summer knees-up next Saturday - jerk and braised meat sandwiches, loaded jerk chicken fries, mac & cheese and their famous baked patties. Born from a mission to bring more variety to Nottingham's Caribbean food scene, now they bring it to Rudd 👌

Alongside them, Ruddington legends and market MVP's Theo's Kitchen will be serving up hot roast joints and all the hearty, freshly-cooked comfort food that goes with them - perfect if you're after something to soak up the summer atmos with 🍖

Ooh la la. Next month's Rudd Market is getting all French fancy on us.

Deli-licious French flavours await at Saveurs & Traditions where you can be treated to an exquisite selection of specialities from the South. All carefully sourced by French connoisseurs Stephane and Cindy, take your pick from terrines, rillettes, saucissons, wines and more.

Dial up the fancy even more with a visit to Nova Macarons. Not only are these macarons divine to eat, they are the cutest macarons you will ever see. Think strawberry shaped, pastry shaped, cherry shaped, even avocado shaped with little faces. You'll want to admire these little treats just as much as you'll want to eat them.

Get a taste for the Riviera with a tipple or two from Riviera Iced Tea. Their naturally delicious Iced Tea is inspired by the Mediterranean and full of flavour to boot. Peach flavour, lemon flavour, raspberry and mint. Sip and enjoy!
