TRADERS - We still have pitches available. You will be provided with a gazebo so this event is ideal for traders who don't have their own.

Unfortunately, due to stormy weather, we have now cancelled this Sunday’s event at Rufford Abbey. The wind gusts speeds for Sunday are now showing an average of 45mph which is clearly too strong for gazebos and make it unsafe for the event to proceed. We apologise for any inconvenience caused but the safety of visitors and our traders is top priority.

We will bring our traders back on 30th October for the Twilight event and again on 29th November for another Abbey Artisan Market.

💛 A little reminder to myself (and maybe to you, too)…

Every so often, we need to push ourselves outside our comfort zone and give something new a try.

I know how easy it is to stay in the familiar, where everything feels safe and predictable. But some of the most rewarding moments in life come from taking a chance, saying yes to something different, or doing something that feels a little scary at first.

Recently, I’ve been reminded how important it is to put yourself out there, embrace new experiences and be open to where they might lead. You never really know what opportunities are waiting for you until you take that first step.

People think I’m some super confident businesswoman, happy to be in the spotlight, yet contrary to what believe I’m not one for public speaking or shining a light on myself, preferring instead to shine a light and champion others.

We’re all learning as we go. Sometimes it’s simply about having the courage to try, believing in yourself a little more, and trusting that you’ll find your way.

So, if there’s something you’ve been thinking about doing but keep putting off, maybe this is your gentle nudge to go for it.

Life is too short to let fear hold us back from the things that could bring us joy, confidence and new opportunities.

Be brave enough to try, kind enough to yourself when things feel difficult, and proud of yourself for taking that first step.

You never know where it might lead.

Is it nearly bedtime yet?

I’ve just done Day 3 of intense scheduling of our events for 2027 and I’m still not quite done yet - but hope to have it nailed by the end of this week ready to launch next week as promised. I’m so excited about 2027 - hope I don’t peak too early 🤭

Just wanted to say a “personal” thank you for all those people who have put their hand up 🙋🏼‍♀️ 🙋‍♂️ for the ‘new Sheffield’ events next year, I am thrilled all you local folk want to trade on home turf since the majority of you travel the length + breadth of the country with us LOL - it does not go unnoticed I can assure you of that ❤️

The new sheffield events will be fab and with a new twist on what we do and how we do it, we are going to be needing some new talent and some ‘different’ style traders.

These new spaces are stunning, well placed and boast naturally good footfall - what could possibly go wrong 🙄 🌧️ LOL

I love ❤️ this post - The Thoughtful Parcel and Brooke and Bean together under 1 fantastic roof - it’s bound to be a good one.

With around 50 artisans, makers, bakers, jewellers, printers, and lots of talented folk in between, who doesn’t want to visit this FREE event !!!

Turning our attention towards the New Year - all of our regular traders should bear in mind that we are now starting to prep for the release of our 2027 dates. This will include Humber Bridge Farmers Market starting in March and finalising with 2 dates in December.

Regulars who wish to keep their positions at this event MUST let us know. We wont assume, as is the way with council markets, we will simply wait for YOU to tell us.

Those small businesses who have been trying to get onto this large event should continue to watch our socials for the launch of 2027 dates as this is your shot !!!
