Not sure what you’ll find at Southcote Pantry? You might be surprised!

If you’ve never visited us before, you may imagine a few tins on a shelf… but there’s so much more than that.

These photos give you a little glimpse of the range of food and essentials we can have available:

🥦 Fresh fruit & vegetables
🥛 Chilled and refrigerated food
🥫 Tinned and ambient goods
🍞 Bread and bakery items
🧴 Household essentials
…and lots of other items, depending on what we have in that week.

Our stock changes all the time, so every week is different — but our aim is always the same: to provide good food, choice and practical support to people in our community.

If you’re struggling to make ends meet, please don’t feel you have to manage on your own. Coming to our pantry is nothing to be embarrassed about. You’ll be welcomed, treated with respect and able to choose from what’s available.

Sometimes the hardest part is simply walking through the door for the first time. If you need a little help, please come and see us. You might be surprised at what’s waiting for you.

Have a look through the photos and get a taste of what we offer.

A huge heartfelt thank you to Southcote Family Church!

We were absolutely delighted to receive the wonderful Harvest Thanksgiving donations from the church. So much food was generously donated, and it will make a real difference to our pantry members and their families.

We are incredibly grateful not only for their generosity, but for the passion, kindness and care they continually show towards the pantry and everyone we support. We’re also very privileged they provide such a welcoming home for our pantry.

If you haven’t discovered Southcote Family Church yet, why not pop along to one of their services or events? They are a warm, welcoming community and would love to see you.

A little reminder for our pantry members

Have you received an email saying your membership is “lapsed”? Please don’t worry - your membership has NOT been cancelled!

This is simply our system automatically updating your status if you haven’t visited for a little while.

Whether it’s been a few weeks or a few months, you are still very welcome at the pantry. There’s no need to reapply — just come along and we can update your membership in seconds. 😊

We’d love to see you again, whenever you’re ready.

Please do share this information if you are aware of any friends or family who may have been impacted. Thank you.
