What a fantastic day once again. Despite the road closures and very limited parking, you showed up in incredible numbers and reminded us exactly why this community is so special.

Days like these are about so much more than shopping. They’re about locals supporting locals, families enjoying time together, and people choosing to invest in local makers, creators, and independent businesses. Every purchase, every conversation, and every visit helps keep our local economy thriving and gives small businesses the opportunity to grow.

We are truly grateful to every visitor who made the effort to come along, every trader who brought their passion and talent, and everyone who continues to champion local enterprise. Together, we create something special, a vibrant community where small businesses can flourish and where connections are built.

Can anyone help identify the owners of these three cars parked in the Stables car park, or let them know about this post?

The car park is reserved for the monthly village market, and we really need these vehicles moved tonight so that our stallholders can start their set up from 5am tomorrow morning.

I appreciate this is being posted quite late in the evening, but if this is your car, or you know who it belongs to, please could you ask them to move it as soon as possible.

Final Reminder – Port Sunlight Village Market is Tomorrow!

Join us tomorrow at the Stables, Port Sunlight (CH62 4YA), where our traders will be ready to welcome you from 9:00 a.m.

The Port Sunlight Village Run is also taking place, so the whole village will be buzzing with activity. Why not make a day of it? Come along, support our local traders, enjoy the fantastic community atmosphere, and cheer on the runners as they make their way through the village.

Please note that parking may be more limited than usual due to the event. Where possible, we encourage visitors to travel by train. Limited parking will still be available around the village, but please allow extra time and plan your journey accordingly.

A reminder to all Port Sunlight residents and visitors:

The Stables Courtyard is reserved for the Monthly Village Market. As market setup begins before 6:00am on Sunday, no vehicles should be left parked in the courtyard overnight on Saturday.
