Well that’s the World Cup started!

Some of us have been down this road a few times before!

It’s too early to get excited!

Nervous anticipation indeed!

But here is the way it will probably pan out!

The first two games against Haiti and Morocco will not go to plan.

One point from the two games. A bit of a disaster!

We will go into the last game against Brazil needing to win by three clear goals.

The boys will play a blinder. We will lead 4-1 until the last minute.

Then a dodgy VAR penalty to Brazil.

We go out as heroes!

We have all seen that movie.

Or the alternative script and the one we like best is -

We give Haiti and Morocco both a doing.

We field the second string against Brazil to give the other lads a rest.

We give them a doing as well!

We continue to strut our stuff for the next couple of weeks playing keepie uppie doon the wing - cutting in from the wing beating four guys and chipping the keeper while Archie MacPherson gets very excited!

It’s only a question of who we meet in the final!
