Meet Chrissy!

🤩 What is your favourite task to do in your job? Learning butchery skills, Trying to guess the exact weight of mince in my 1st or 2nd go when people ask for it.
🍖 If you could only eat one meat for the rest of your life what would it be? Fillet Steak
💭If you weren’t part of the Soutars team what would you want to be doing? Michelin Star Restaurant Inspector
🌭 Favourite Soutars Sausage Flavour: Pork, Cheese & Marmite
🥩 Best way to cook a steak: Medium
🔥 BBQ or roast: Roast
☕ Coffee or tea: Iced Caramel Latte
😂 Fun fact: I qualified as a snowboard instructor and did trials for the Great Britain snowboarding team!
If you’ve ever seen one of our Facebook posts, ordered a Christmas hamper, or picked up one of our weekly meat packs, chances are Chrissy has had something to do with it!
What most people don’t see is that her energy levels seem to have been set permanently to “full speed ahead”. Whether she’s serving customers in the shop, sorting stock, organising events, or helping behind the scenes, she’ll throw herself into absolutely anything.
Outside of the butcher’s, things don’t slow down either. Chrissy has helped organise bars at Beach Polo events, taken part in women’s 24-hour cycling events, helps with the local children’s drama club, and somehow still manages to fit everything else in around family life.
And if all that wasn’t enough… she’s currently preparing for baby number three under the age of three! We’re not sure if she runs on coffee, determination, or some sort of secret superpower, but we’d certainly like to bottle it and sell it.
Every team needs a Chrissy, and we’re very lucky ours comes with a smile, endless enthusiasm, and the ability to get ten jobs done before most people have finished one!
