Perth Farmers' Market is one of the few markets where traders must be the farmer or producer themselves. This ethos was established 26 years ago and we work hard to maintain it. 👍

When you visit our market, you're buying directly from the farmer, maker or producer... the people who have grown, reared, caught, baked or brewed the products they sell.🥩🧅🧁🍷 🐟🎣

It's national cheese day today! Who knew?🧀

If you're fancying a cheeky wee nibble, then make sure to visit the Arran Cheese Shop stall at the market on Saturday.

With lots of lovely cheeses, you'll be spoilt for choice.💯

Whilst there, take a look at our other fabulous market stalls. We have delicious bread, cakes, fish, fruit, vegetables, jams, honey and meat at the market... all home grown and handmade.🥰

After a busy weekend at Scone, we're now gearing up for the next Perth Farmers' Market on Saturday!🥳

That's right... there's no rest for the farmers as we'll be back providing the good people of Perth with some delicious fresh and local produce.🧅🥩

Scone Palace Garden Fair – Over and Out! 🌿🍓

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our traders and visited the cookery demonstration tent over the last two days.

An incredible amount of hard work goes into producing, preparing and bringing local food and drink to events like this, so it means a great deal to see so many people come along and support us.

A special thank you to our demonstration chefs, Sarah Rankin Cooks and Fraser Bell from 63 Tay Street. You both put on fantastic demonstrations and showcased the wonderful produce from our traders brilliantly.

If you missed us at Scone Palace, don’t worry! We’ll be back at South Inch Car Park on Saturday with another fantastic line-up of local producers and plenty of delicious food and drink.

Demonstration number one is done, and what a fantastic time everyone had! 👏🍓🍯

If you missed it, don’t worry – Fraser is back in the Cookery Theatre at 2.30pm for his second demonstration of the day.

Using produce from our Perth Farmers’ Market traders, Fraser is showcasing some incredible local ingredients including meat, honey, gin, strawberries and much more.

Come along, pick up some inspiration, and see what delicious creations can be made from the fantastic produce available right here at the market. We look forward to seeing you there!

Day 2 at Scone Palace Garden Fair – let’s be having you!

Our traders are here bright and early, setting up an incredible display of fabulous local produce. We truly have something for everyone: meat, cheese, smoked salmon, scones, honey, wine, tea, coffee, sauces, pies, sausage rolls, fruit, gin, jams, and so much more. A tremendous showcase of deliciousness from some of Scotland’s finest producers.

We’re also delighted to have the fantastic Fraser from 63 Tay Street with us today – although we think “Fantasic Fraser from 63 Tay Street” should just be his official title now! Using produce sourced directly from our traders, he’ll be creating some fantastic dishes and flavour combinations in the cookery theatre.

Catch Fraser’s demonstrations at 11.30am and 2.30pm. Rumour has it he’ll also be sharing some clever tips and ideas for using leftover ground coffee. We’re all on board with learning a few zero-waste tricks!

Come along, support local producers, enjoy some great food inspiration, and make a day of it at Scone Palace Garden Fair.

🐾 Lexi dog was keeping a watchful eye over the stallholders and customers today at the Scone Palace Garden Fair! Despite the windy conditions, thankfully nobody blew away — although we were all blown away by the amazing support from everyone who stopped by the market area and food demonstration theatre today.

We’re back for Day 2 tomorrow and it’s shaping up to be another fantastic day. Our traders have headed off to restock ready for another busy day, and we’re delighted to be joined by Fraser Bell from 63 Tay Street who will be hosting two cookery demonstrations. Fraser will be using produce from our farmers market traders while sharing plenty of hints, tips and inspiration along the way.

We can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow.
