It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Fauvette…

And who better to help us get our Christmas cheeseboards just right than Simeon Hudson-Evans?

Simeon has been part of the Fauvette story for many years, having joined us for some of our favourite tasting evenings over the last decade. So we’re delighted to welcome him back for another evening of great cheese, good w**e and plenty of festive inspiration.

We’ll be sharing some of the cheeses we have chosen for the shop this December, alongside some delicious accompaniments and w**es to match — and of course, there’ll be a welcome drink to get us into the Christmas spirit.

Expect plenty of tasting, a few stories, some useful cheeseboard wisdom and perhaps a little gentle disagreement about what actually belongs on the perfect Christmas cheeseboard…

Fauvette is turning 10 this August and to mark this milestone, we could not think of anyone better to kick off our series of special events than inviting our friend Joe Schneider.

Joe is the man behind one of our best-selling cheeses, Stichelton, which he makes on the Welbeck Estate in Nottinghamshire.

Joe will talk about cheese production, seasonality, farming on the Welbeck Estate and how his battle with the Stilton Cheesemakers Association turned him into the accidental outlaw of British cheesemaking.


He will also bring along a selection of British cheeses made by some of Britain's finest cheesemakers — many of them Joe's friends.
Accompaniments and w**e served on the night.

This is a ticketed event - Spaces are limited so please book early. Reserve your spot by calling us. £50.00 per person
Please let us know if you have any food allergies at the time of booking. Note that some cheeses on this tasting are made using traditional rennet and may not be suitable for strict vegetarians.

Refunds: If you have purchased a ticket for this event and can no longer make it, we will only process a refund if we are able to sell your space to someone else. Refunds will incur a £2 admin fee per ticket.
