Well, what a year we’ve had at VegDelight! The year started off with rain, rain & more rain leading to us being flooded…again!! 🌧️
Middle of the year gave us sun, heat & very little rain ☀️ 🏜️
To the end of the year & back to more rain ☔️
But…we made it, planted it, grew it, ate it & sold it 😁
We’d like to send a Huge Thankyou to everyone that supported us, bought from us, liked, shared & commented on our posts.
It’s because of you, it makes it all worth the time, work & effort 💪🏻👊🏻

Mid November & I’ve just put my Chilli plants to bed over winter. I can’t believe I’ve had a crop like this, this late in the year 💚
Evil Chilli Chutney & pickled Chillies will be plentiful this year 🌶️ 🔥 🥵

Eeekkk!! I’m now on countdown to my most favourite time of year 🧙🏻‍♂️🧌🧟‍♀️🧛‍♀️🦇🕷️🕸️ 👻 🧙🏼‍♀️😈 🎃
There are quite a few weird & wonderful pumpkin varieties coming along very nicely down my allotments, from the teeny tiny to the gigantic 💚
‘Pick your own’ will be available from 29th September 🙌 (as long as the floods stay away🤞🏻)
Once picked, the pumpkins should last a good 6-8 weeks if stored in a cool dry place ☺️

This Monday (1st Sept) may be one of the last picks of the year for my Veg Baskets (I go away for a week on the 6th Sept) if any one would like one 💚
All picked fresh to order & for collection after 5pm ☺️
A Basket of fruit & veg will contain a selected mix (availability on the day) of the following freshly picked produce;
Green beans
Beetroot 🫜
Potatoes 🥔
Courgette
Sweetcorn 🌽 (very sweet & succulent)
Spaghetti Squash
Tomatoes (perfectly sun ripened & tasty)
Patty Pan (fabulous stuffed with spicy mince/rice)
