I’ve been quiet lately but have been baking regularly - just catching up now on showing you what’s been happening. Will post a few of the things I’ve been doing over the next couple of weeks.
But I must start with this character - a chocolate salted caramel highland coo! Went out to a local lady’s birthday yesterday. She’s admitted that she couldn’t cut it and had to ask her mum to do the deed!

And another little cake left yesterday on it’s way to a birthday girl!
Again this one was a light vanilla sponge filled with strawberry jam and Madagascan vanilla buttercream. All topped n decorated to look similar to a Tiffany gift box.

Little record deck (for those of us old enough to remember vinyl!) cake went out for a 30th birthday today. Many happy returns to the lucky lad!
This was a vanilla sponge filled with strawberry jam n vanilla buttercream. All decorated to match the recipients own record deck!

A little lemon sponge went out on Monday. It had lemon drizzle sponge with luscious lemon curd filling and lashings of lemon buttercream between the layers and aaaaaaallllll over the sponge. It had a light pink lustre colour added to make it shine!
Loads of white, silver and rose gold sugar pearls all around to match the customer supplied cake topper.
Bet there’s not much left after birthday celebrations! Xx

This one was a monster!
12” square fruit cake for a 50th birthday of a young Cornish lad who loves Barbados too - hence the flags!
Photos are of his beloved dogs and the centre was modelled on his horse. A couple of cheeky marzipan Cornish pasties tucked around too.
All photos are edible so the lot can be noshed!

This little unicorn chocolate creation left today for a special girl’s birthday! As you can see she has a love of unicorns.
It is chocolate sponge with salted caramel filling, salted caramel chocolate butter cream in the layers and white chocolate butter cream around the outside. All sprinkled with liberal amounts of unicorn p**p sprinkles!
I hope the celebrations are lovely and colourful for the young girl! ###

Lovely fruit cake delivered yesterday for a special birthday girl! Her T-shirt said she was 12 years old with 38 years experience - just loved the attitude.
