Food Hubs are click+collect online farmer’s markets allowing customers to buy directly from LOCAL farmers, producers and makers. Customers join their local Food Hubs, pre-order and pay for their food securely online and pick it up at a local weekly collection on Fridays from 4-6pm at The Fraser Centre (opposite Costa!) where they often get the chance to meet the farmers and producers who make it. At the Milngavie Food Hub, we have brought together over 30 amazing, LOCAL food and drink producers. All of the food comes from an average of 26 miles and there is no food waste as everything brought to the weekly collection is pre-ordered. For every £1 spent, 90p stays in your LOCAL economy!
