Thank you to everyone who visited and chatted with the stallholders. We really are grateful for everyones support and also the interest in the Taste of Kent Award trophy and certificate on display.

On the jam stall today you'll find the Taste of Kent Award Gold certificate and the trophy award too.

Due to feeling poorly this morning Canterbury C***r are not at the market today

Lenham Country Market opens today Sunday 11th October in the Village Square between 9 and 1.

Some of the items to look out for include cherry brandy liquior, doughnuts, pea shoot micro greens, skate wings, damson ice cream, hand made soaps, squashes, violas, cheeses and much more.

The local shops and businesses are open too.

What an eventful Thursday evening at the Taste of Kent Award 2026!

In the Food and Drink Market category Lenham Country Market was announced as winning the Gold Award.

Well done to the other finalists in this category:

Whitstable Foodies Market received the Silver Award and Cliftonville Farmers Market the Bronze.

We're so very grateful for the wonderful customers and visitors who support the Market in all weathers. And a special thank you to the stallholders who make the market possible.

Lastly a thank you to Mike the Lenham Town Crier and Lenham Parish Council for all their support to.

There are many wonderful food and drink businesses in Kent and we're so pleased that Lenham Country Market is part of that local food network.

We took the opportunity to talk to the KCC portfolio holder about local food security and farmers markets too

A final thank you to all the staff at Produced in Kent who worked so hard to organise this years Taste of Kent 2026 Awards.

Brays Bees are due back at Lenham Country Market this coming Sunday 11 October.

They will have a selection of their different honey flavours available plus hopefully some of their beeswax candles too.
