Welcome to Wheelers Traditional Fishmonger, based at the fabulous Everton Nurseries. The vast majority of our catch is landed at Lymington.

We offer the freshest, most sustainable and locally caught fish and shellfish. Please come and see for yourself.

A very good Fish Friday morning to all our lovely friends and customers, we hope you’re all warm, dry and enjoying the sunshine this week after such stormy weather last week.
Our fishermen partners have been out on the ocean waves this week, working hard to ensure the very best that our beautiful coastline has to offer is at Wheelers, on our ice and expertly displayed and ready for your table this weekend.
We have very locally caught wild bass, black bream, red mullet,Huss or Rock salmon (in old money !),Turbot, brill and the finest seasonal plaice and fresh squid just to name some of the fabulous selection on our ice this morning.
We can prepare your Friday feast in any way you’d like so please do come to see us at the trailer at the Everton Nurseries, Christchurch road, Everton, Lymington SO41 0BF

A very good morning to all our lovely friends and customers, I hope you all stayed safe and dry yesterday during the storm.
We’re open this morning with some Beautiful very fresh, very locally caught fish on our ice with some of your favourites headlining the display;
Wild bass, black bream, brill, Turbot, red mullet, Huss, plaice and skate wings all displayed for your weekend selection so please do come a treat yourself and your family to a very healthy, sustainable and delicious meal, we’ll prepare your fish in anyway you’d like and offer cooking and serving advice when needed.

A very wet and windy good morning to all our lovely friends and customers, due to the extreme weather and possibility of injury or damage to cars or the trailer we’re not opening today- I apologise for any inconvenience but we’ll be open again tomorrow morning (Saturday) when the weather does look to improve a bit !!

A very good autumnal morning to all of our lovely friends and customers. It’s Fish Friday again and at Wheelers Traditional Fishmonger this morning we have some of the finest fish and shellfish that our wonderful coastline has to offer. Wild bass, bream, skate, turbot, brill, plaice, huss, gurnard and beautiful red mullet all headline on our ice today.
Expertly displayed and prepared in any way you’d like by a master fishmonger, so please do come and see for yourselves and treat yourself and your family to a delicious, sustainable, very locally caught …… (all of the fish mentioned above are landed here at Lymington ! ) …. A very good October morning to all our lovely friends and customers. It’s Fish Friday and we’ve got some of the very best, seasonal favourites on our ice this morning. From a very decadent fish pie mix to wild bass and bream. Skate wings and oak smoked haddock, sashimi grade tuna and beautiful plump Shetland scallops. We have Cornish mussels and very locally caught Huss, turbot, brill, plaice and hake. A very good autumnal morning to all our lovely friends and customers, it’s a beautiful morning out here and we’ll have some fabulous very fresh and very locally caught fish on our ice this morning - top of the list are these red mullet, fantastic butterflied or simply cooked, absolutely delicious !.

A very good Fish Friday morning to all of our lovely friends and customers. it’s a bumper day at Wheelers this morning with some of the finest, very fresh, very locally caught fish and shellfish on our ice ready for you to come and chose from.
