Hello Peckham Foodies!👋🏾
It is with deep regret to inform you that we will not be trading at Peckham Square today or at all soon. You can thank for this.
We were harassed on the Square yesterday by 2 top management staff of Southwark Market team for no good reason other than to continue in their Bullying tactics they have been doing to us for some time now.
For us to gain the spot on the Square was not an easy task nor an easy application process, for they kept us making us jump through so many Hurdles before we had to get the Member of Parliament representing Peckham, Harriet Harman involved.
It was only then they begrudgingly gave us a temporary license which runs out in January 2022 and is up for renewal.👀
We realised some Southwark staffs have been butt hurt by us going above them and their tactics, however, yesterday's tactics went too far.
For the sake of us keeping our sanity and trying to end the year on a good note, we have decided to stop trading at the Square because we feel they will go to any lengths to cause us problems. Trust us, they have tried so many dirty tactics whilst we have been trading at the Square which has now lead to us publicly speaking about it now.
Those of you whom live or work in the borough of Southwark may understand what we are talking about. It has been quite glaring that they relax rules for some and impose the same rules to others. The official narrative is that Black Lives Matter but does it really matter?

Thank you all for your continued support. Please do not ever stay silent when you are being harassed or bullied whether at home, work or even your local council or government. Silence is what helps them continue!
