SAT 11 JULY > ORMSIDE presents DJ Sotofett - channelling five decades of sound system music.

Over the past 20 years, Tresor resident and cult producer has been pushing an uncompromising vision across experimental and dance music - releasing a wide spectrum of shimmering dub techno, percussive disco, electro and more.

Expect an extended 6hr set spanning decades of dance history, referencing decades of dance history, from jazz and dub explorations to techno futurism.

On Sunday 14 June, Ormside x Riddim Chango host a dub focused evening exploring its sonic dimensions.

Japan's , dj / producer and co-owner of the imprint joins us for a rare dj set after relocating to Kyoto. During his 9-year stint in the UK, he immersed himself in the UK’s soundsystem culture, working as a Reggae buyer at a second-hand record shop and building the label’s back catalogue with notable releases, including collaborations with Jamaican poet Nazamba, a potent exploration of black oppression and the boundary-pushing Andromeda EP with the LA/JA dancehall collective, Duppy Gun.

Brussels-based , work sits at the intersection of sound, politics and community - driven by a deep commitment to collective spaces and a signature focus on heavy, physical bass weight through dub, dancehall and the industrial.

Manchester legend and Ormside family, - a shapeshifting DJ, who has gone through many musical eras; through mid 90s Manchester raves, helping to break Equiknoxx into Europe, and his deep and diverse NTS Shows.

affiliate and Reckless Records don, completes the bill with his eclectic selections and open-minded approach, developing his sound since his early days in London record shops in the late 90s.

SAT 30 MAY JOKKOO X ORMSIDE

returns to Ormside for a DJ set - fresh off the premiere of his new dance-film work “Roda” in collaboration with . Coining the term “Rough-Kuduro” during the early stages of his career, developed his sound through pushing Angolan dance music to its extremes, mirroring the violence of the civil war and its resulting fractures. In a reclamation of this personal and political history, forges a sound uniquely his own – finding a home with iconic London label .

Welcoming .adouna (MBODJ) to Ormside. One of the founding members of .collective – .adouna’s practice extends far beyond herself, working diligently to nourish both local and global communities as a facilitator, organiser and promoter. As a DJ, she embodies this community focus – using the booth to platform boundary-pushing sonics from within and around the black music continuum.

founder and resident is back at Ormside. A multidisciplinary performer and artist – her DJ sets feel like the fruiting bodies of a practice devoted to research and expression. Boldly establishing her own set of linguistics when guiding the dancefloor, encourages a kind of embodied listening, transforming the club into a site of devotion, never failing to astound with her selections.

Formed in 2025 by two existing members of .collective – and – opens a new chapter, fusing their individual practices together into raw performance. In a visceral collision of soundsystem music from across the African diaspora, the duo effortlessly meld dancehall and noise, industrial and trap, presented with a cathartic immediacy that is shared between performers and audiences alike. This will be the UK debut of this project.

Welcoming to Ormside for the first time. The agency co-founder and DJ leads with a textural and driving approach, weaving together a full spectrum of techno-inflected sonics with drum at its core. This time opening the night and setting the tone, we look forward to hearing what he’ll bring to the booth.
