A look back at our Autumn/Winter Trade Tasting

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Holloway this week to taste their way through the new season.

There was plenty of raclette, our favourite autumn and winter cheeses, charcuterie, tinned fish and, of course, lots of new bottles to discover.

It’s always a pleasure to have so many of our trade customers, producers and friends together in one room, tasting, talking and sharing what we’re excited about for the months ahead.

At Provisions we champion bringing people together to enjoy good food and good w**e. On Friday 9th October we’ll be hosting a grazing table of our incredible selection of cheeses, charcuterie and antipasti for you to come and enjoy. It’s a chance to share conversation with friends and members of the community, and learn from the Provisions team about our produce and the stories behind them.

Expect an opulent spread of our favourite produce from France and Italy, alongside w**es by the glass and an exciting bottle list! 🧀🍇🥂

A little goat’s cheese from the Cévennes with plenty of character: creamy, tangy and increasingly expressive as it matures.

You might have spotted it recently in our collaboration with Laura Jalbert , who turned Pélardon into gelato. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Always learning about cheese🧀

We recently welcomed Emma from Emma Young - The Cheese Explorer and author of the great The Cheese Wheel to Provisions for a cheese masterclass with the shops team.

A morning of tasting, talking and going a little deeper into the products we import and present every day, from how different cheeses are made and matured to understanding flavours, textures and what makes each one unique.

Autumn/Winter Trade Tasting 🍷🧀

September is here, and as the seasons change, so does our selection. Summer goat’s cheeses are making way for plenty of raclette, while light, easy-drinking bottles step aside for richer, bolder winter pours.

Join us at Holloway to taste what we’re excited about for the season ahead:

Expect our ideal winter cheese board, a world of raclettes, the latest additions to our Grab & Go range, Maison Mayté charcuterie, ABC+ tinned fish, seasonal w**es and new bottles from Yves Duport, Serrals and Mas des Agrunelles.

As always, we’re keeping things intimate so we have time to talk and taste properly with everyone.
