Everyone is warmly invited to join on June 6th at the Swedish School in London! They are opening our doors to everyone - families, friends, and neighbours - to celebrate this special day together!

Happy Budapestbakelsens Dag! 💙 Budapest Roll Cake is a classic Swedish pastry made with hazelnut merengue, and filled with cream and mandarin. Delicious with a cup of coffee or as a dessert.

Interesting fact! 💛 The Budapest Roll Cake has nothing to do with the capital city of Hungary. According to Wikipedia the pastry was invented by Swedish pastry chef Ingvar Strid, born 1926 in Småland county. He decided to include the name of his favourite city in the cake title.

We’d like to say a big Thank You! to everyone who visited our stores during our 20th birthday celebration week. 🎉

It was lovely to see so many friendly customers and friends from the Swedish and Nordic communities and beyond.

We enjoyed the delicious gravlax and Skagen mix served up by Köket, gorgeous mini Princess Cakes created by Love FIKA, Saxhyttegubben's Blåbär 100% alcohol free drink and totally moorish cinnamon buns baked by Fika By The Sea.

The winners of the exclusive hampers filled with Swedish food, goodies and design have been contacted via email and are welcome to pop by our store at 32 Crawford Street, London W1 to pick up their hampers. Please pick up before the 24th of September - after this date we need every inch of space in the store for big deliveries. 😁

The new big event in our stores will be on the 4th of October. It’s Kanelbullens dag - Cinnamon Bun Day - and we will be selling a large amount of freshly baked cinnamon buns and other goodies at our stores.
