We choose our omega brands carefully because quality really matters. Freshness, purity, sustainability, strength and the form of omega all make a difference.

That is why our shelves include trusted favourites such as:

Wild Nutrition ( )
Food-Grown®️ omega 3 formulas, including options for everyday support and pregnancy/new mother care. We love their focus on MSC-certified sourcing, purity and sustainability.

Bare Biology ( )
A beautifully transparent British brand known for high-strength omega 3, third-party testing and clean formulas. A great option for those who want purity, potency and no unnecessary extras.

Natroceutics ( )
A more advanced omega 3 option, using triglyceride form omega 3 from sustainable wild Alaskan po***ck, with added lutein, zeaxanthin and vitamin K2 in the fortified formula.

Wiley’s Finest ( )
Wild Alaskan fish oil with strong EPA and DHA levels, sustainably sourced and designed for everyday heart, brain and eye support.

Omega 3 can be a simple daily way to support normal heart, brain and vision function, but the best choice depends on your diet, lifestyle, health goals and current routine.

Two products can look very similar on the shelf, but the real difference is often in the details: the amount of EPA and DHA, the form of omega-3, the source, freshness, purity testing and concentration.

That’s why reading beyond the front label matters.

At Windfall, we believe supplements should be chosen with care, not guesswork. Whether you’re looking for support with heart health, brain function, eyes, mood or general wellbeing, our fully qualified nutritionists can help you compare options and understand what you’re actually taking. 💚

Did you know?
Omega-3 can go rancid if it is exposed to too much heat, light or oxygen. A strong fishy smell, bitter taste, cloudy oil or capsules that look sticky, soft or discoloured can all be signs the oil may not be fresh.

“How much omega-3 do I actually need?”
It’s one of the questions we get asked most in store.

Most guidelines suggest around 250–500 mg of EPA and DHA per day for general health, particularly cardiovascular support.
But in practice, intake varies a lot, especially if oily fish isn’t consumed regularly and for some people, higher amounts may be more appropriate depending on what they’re trying to support.

What matters is consistency and understanding what you’re already getting through your diet. From there, adjustments become far more precise and relevant.

Worth knowing:
Omega-3 levels can be measured over time (often referred to as the Omega-3 Index), giving a clearer picture of long-term intake rather than short-term estimates.

If you’re unsure where you stand,
we’re always here to help you make sense of it. 💚

Omega-3 isn’t just a “benefit list.” It’s part of your cells, shaping how your body responds to stress, inflammation, and recovery. That’s why it impacts your heart, brain, skin, and mood all connected.

EPA supports recovery. DHA supports your brain.
Consistency is what makes the difference.

Your wellness is our priority & we’re always happy to help 💚

The detail most people miss about omega-3
is that it’s not just one thing.

It’s a group of fatty acids, mainly ALA, EPA and DHA and they don’t all behave the same way in the body.

ALA comes from plant foods like flaxseeds and walnuts.
EPA and DHA are mainly found in oily fish.

The important part is that ALA needs to be converted into EPA and DHA, and that process isn’t very efficient. So while plant sources still have value, they don’t provide the same effect as the forms your body uses more directly.

EPA is more involved in inflammation and recovery.
DHA plays a structural role in the brain and eyes.

Both matter, and they work best together.

This is where a lot of the confusion comes from and why understanding the detail makes a real difference.

Fun fact: In most people, less than 10% of ALA is converted into EPA, and often less than 1–5% into DHA.

Omega 3, 6 and 9 are often talked about, but the real story is balance.

These fats all play important roles in your body: supporting your brain, cells, hormones and overall wellbeing. Most people already get plenty of omega-6 through everyday foods, but omega-3 is where many fall short.

Over time, that imbalance can influence things like inflammation, recovery and skin health.

The good news? Small, consistent choices in your diet can make a real difference.

Pop into store if you’d like personalised nutrition advice, we’re here to help you make sense of it all in a practical, evidence-based way.

New in store: 🤩
A skincare range we’re genuinely excited about.

We don’t bring products in lightly, especially when it comes to skincare. It has to be well made, consistent, and something we’d feel confident recommending to the people we speak to every day.

This one stood out.
Simple, thoughtful formulations built around high-quality botanicals, and a routine that actually fits into real life, not something you have to overthink.

That’s where most people struggle (from what we see in store):
Too many products, no consistency, and no real clarity on what’s actually working.

BAZ & CO keeps things straightforward. And done properly. So, if you’ve never found something that works for you, or don’t know where to start, come in and have a chat with us. We’ll help you keep it simple.

P.S. Skincare has no gender 😎

We’ve covered magnesium: what it does, how it works, and the forms that matter. But quality is just as important.

Not all supplements are created equal. That’s why we focus on brands that use well-researched forms, clean ingredients, and rigorous third-party testing for quality and purity. No fillers, no hype, just what works.

From capsules to powders and topicals, it’s about finding what fits you. Not sure where to start? Our nutritionists are here for personalised guidance. 🤍

Different forms of magnesium do different things.

Glycinate → calm & sleep
Citrate → digestion
Malate → energy
Threonate → brain support

Same mineral. Completely different effects. So if you’ve tried magnesium and felt nothing, it probably wasn’t the right form or the right quality.

Because here’s the part most people miss:
Not all supplements are created equal.

Low-quality magnesium = poor absorption, weak results.
The right form + high-quality ingredients = something you can actually feel.

At Windfall, we only stock supplements we trust
highly absorbable, clean, and made to work with your body, not against it.

Not sure which one you need?
Come in store, we’re always happy to help 💚
