Looking for a super simple delicious fish recipe this Friday?

Try out this recipe with our delicious plaice fillets.

Ingredients

2 fresh plaice fillets

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

1 lemon (half for juice, half for wedges)

1 tbsp capers (optional)

Small handful fresh parsley, chopped

Salt & black pepper

Light dusting of plain flour

Method

Pat the plaice dry and lightly season with salt and pepper.

Dust the fillets lightly with flour.

Heat butter and olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Cook the plaice 2–3 minutes per side until golden and flaky.

Add lemon juice, capers, and parsley to the pan.

Spoon the lemon butter sauce over the fish and serve immediately.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with new potatoes, spinach, or a simple salad.
