Here’s How!
➡️ Soak your Bang! Onion Ginger Garlic mix. Fry low and slow until golden
➡️ Mix Bang Jalfrezi spice with water to make a paste and add to pan
➡️ Add lentils tomatoes and water
➡️ Simmer 20-30 mins
➡️ Stir in frozen veg and cook for another 10!

🍲Build your bowl! Dahl - Rice or your choice of grain! - crunchy veggies - spring onions - Dolores of yoghurt - chia seeds and done 🌶️

Big up Chef Ned 👨‍🍳✨ NHS Chef of the Year at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital and after watching this, it’s no surprise. From picking up a knife at age 7, inspired by his little sister, to feeding hundreds of patients and staff with food that actually delivers .ned and his incredible team are redefining what hospital food looks like 🏥💚
What struck us most? His warmth and humility — a chef at the top of his game who lifts everyone around him 🙏 Ned is a huge champion of small local businesses, actively seeking out and supporting independent suppliers to bring the best to his kitchen 💛 And his work ethic? Absolutely unmatched.
And shoutout to the brilliant Annette keeping the whole kitchen running like clockwork, behind every smooth service 🙌

Loaded Chana Fries are giving everything — golden fries buried under deeply spiced chickpeas, cool yogurt, punchy tamarind and fresh mint chutney. It’s the combo you didn’t know you needed but won’t stop thinking about. 🤤

Recipe ⤵️
Here’s the Instag

1. Build Your Base 🧅
Hydrate onion, garlic and ginger mix. Fry low and slow in a neutral oil until it’s soft, golden and your kitchen smells incredible.

2. Spice Things Up 🌶️
Mix your spice blend into a paste with 50ml water and hit the pan. Cook until the oils bloom, add your tomatoes and let it all come together. In go the chickpeas. Sear them, then simmer for 10 mins until spiced. 👌

3. Stack It. Drizzle It. Devour It. 🤤
Hot crispy fries on the bottom. Spiced chana piled on top, then goes finely chopped tomato, chopped red onion and coriander!
Drizzle cool yogurt, dollops of mint chutney and tamarind for that sweet-sour hit.

Side dish or full meal — you decide. Either way, it goes FAST. 💥

Here’s what you need 🛒

4 large onions, finely sliced
3 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp parsley
Chilli flakes (if you like it spicy 🌶️)
Splash of water
