Prep has well and truly started for this weekends markets Marchnad Ffermwyr Aberystwyth Farmers' Market and Aberporth Sunday Produce Market Marchnad Cynnyrch Dydd Sul Aberporth . First up spinach, coriander and paneer curry. Then the base for Paneer butter curry and then finally, after a bit of break, we have chilli bean feta mix for pasties. All made from scratch, chopped, grated and diced by hand.

Everything here is made with TIME, lots of it, this pan of white sauce to or ham & leek pies took what seemed like forever to thicken this morning! The puff pastry involves squashing the butter until pliable, wrapping in the dough, doing the ' french pleats' on the top, then four rollings and foldings through the laminator. Now done ably by grandson Tristan. Bless him.

Our current dog family, not quite the same as the 'jack pack' that came before💔💔. But we do have one little JR again now. They and the grandchildren have such fun together, life without dogs would be unbearable. They are very lucky pups and children.
