What started as a humble roadside vegetable cart has grown into the fields, farm shop and restaurant that you know and love today.

For 24 years, we’ve been passionate about growing, harvesting and sharing the freshest produce with our customers and we couldn’t have done it without your incredible support along the way.

ROLE: Outside Worker at Strawberry Fields Lifton 🥕🚜

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual with a can-do attitude to work on our farm, located in Lifton, Devon. Our farm is dedicated to producing a wide variety of homegrown fresh fruits and vegetables. We pride ourselves on picking the freshest produce every morning to supply our busy farm shop and restaurant. In addition, we host popular events throughout the seasons.

The job will include:
🍓 Daily fruit and vegetable picking, harvesting, planting, and weeding.
🎃 Set up, take down and assist with large scale events
🚜 General farm work
🌦️ Working outdoors in all weather conditions; suitable footwear and waterproof clothing are essential.
🌅 Early starts

MUST HAVES:
🚗 Full UK driving license
🚗 Own reliable transport
🕐 Must be able to work flexible, full-time hours including weekends (essential day is a Sunday). Must be willing to work extra hours during busy times. part time considered for the right applicant.
👀 Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
🌱 Ideally some farm experience or outdoor work experience. Training will be provided.

Our Story 🍓

Now that strawberry season is back, we thought we’d share a little more about where it all began.

What started with a PYO caravan and veg barrow over 30 years ago has grown into something we could never have imagined. But the heart of it is still the same. Family, farming, and making good quality homemade food we’re proud to put our name to.

We’re still incredibly proud to be a real working farm shop, with farming at the centre of everything we do.

Even since filming this video, we’ve opened our fourth shop in Dartmoor, with our fifth in North Devon coming soon, and we’re so excited for everything still to come.

For those who’ve been with us from the very start, and those who’ve only just found us recently - thank you for being part of the journey.
