Just to reiterate, the market isn't on today due to the wind.

If you are out and about and braving the weather. Please support your local shops, bars and cafes in Rothwell and be careful out there.

💨 IMPORTANT UPDATE: SUNDAY’S MARKET

Unfortunately, we’ve had to make the really difficult decision to cancel this Sunday’s market due to Storm Austen.

We’ve worked so hard getting everything ready at our new home, so this is the last thing we wanted. But with wind gusts forecast to be over 35mph, we’re unfortunately not insured to go ahead. It’s simply not worth putting our traders and customers at risk.

We know so many of you were looking forward to coming along, and we’re absolutely gutted. But safety has to come first ❤️

We’ll be back on Sunday 29th November The Black Bull in Rothwell and we can’t wait to welcome you all then!

Please give our amazing traders a little bit of love in the meantime. They put so much time, effort and money into getting ready for these events, and this is just as disappointing for them as it is for us.

We’ve got a belting line up coming and we’ll be dropping the traders over the next few days.

After nearly two years at Salute At The White Swan at The White Swan, we’re moving venues!

We'll be continuing at the same time (10am-2pm) and the same date (the last Sunday of every month) but our new venue will be...

📌The Black Bull!

Our first market at The Black Bull in Rothwell will be Sunday 25th October, 10am–2pm. It’s only about five minutes from the old site, so we’re not going far.

You'll also notice a slight name change from Rothwell Farmers Market to Rothwell Market.

The name change was simple. We want to include all of our amazing traders and make the market something that everyone can be part of! We'll continue to bring the best traders to Rothwell, showcasing great products and the best independent business around!

We’re really pleased to be starting a new partnership with Ossett Brewery at The Black Bull from the 25th October.

We'd also like to say thank you to the Salutē team for everything they’ve done for us over the last two years. They’ve been a massive part in making the market what it is and we really do appreciate all their help and support. We wish them all the best with their new endeavours and thank them for being part of our journey to where we are today.

We’re really looking forward to getting started at The Black Bull and continue to build something special within the LS26 community.
