The first delivery has been made to Bramham Park for the Total Warrior volunteers! 💪

Today was a real milestone moment. Pulling up in the van to make the delivery felt incredibly rewarding because this was always the goal—to have a professional-looking catering vehicle out on the road and supporting events.

Seeing everything come together makes all the hard work worthwhile. Here’s to many more events, deliveries, and exciting opportunities ahead!

We get asked regularly, “Why don’t you open 7 days a week?”

Many people will know that when you run a small business, the work doesn’t stop when the deli closes.

I love being behind the counter and serving our customers, so bringing in extra staff to cover additional days isn’t really an option for me. If I did, I’d never truly switch off.

Mondays are usually spent catching up on paperwork, placing orders, and, if I’m lucky, squeezing in an hour of yoga.

Right now, most small businesses are doing everything they can just to keep their doors open. A supplier said something to me recently that really hit home:

“We’re busy, just not making any money.”

That’s the reality for so many independent businesses at the moment.

We truly appreciate every visit, every purchase, every recommendation, and every bit of support. It makes more of a difference than you know. 🙏🏼

🚴‍♂️ Less than two months to go until IRONMAN Leeds comes through Thorner! 🏊‍♀️🏃‍♂️

It’s definitely a date for your diary – Sunday 16 August.

We can’t wait! Last year was a fantastic day, with the village buzzing as athletes and spectators filled the streets. We’re sure this year will be even bigger and better.

Come along, cheer on the competitors, and be part of the atmosphere as IRONMAN returns to Thorner.
