Raeburn’s were delighted to be involved with this year’s Royal Highland Show!! With Gary being part of a group of local food and drink producers that featured on the big TV screen in the Main Food Hall at the show!!

This year saw Aberdeenshire host the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland’s presidential Initiative!!

As well as managing to raise well over £300,000 for Charity, the main aim of the Initiative was to show the thousands of visitors that attended the show everything the North East has to offer and encourage them to visit & explore Aberdeenshire!!

We were delighted to be asked by Pat Machray the president of Initiative to take part in producing the video which was played over the four days of the show!!

Gary had a great morning at ONESeedPod in Aberdeen where our part of the video was recorded along with Chef Eddie McDonald!!

We were extremely proud to represent the butchery sector in the area by and showing what we do and sharing our story!!

We hope everyone who seen the video at the show enjoyed it and hopefully we have played our wee part in highlighting local family run butcher shops in Aberdeenshire and Aberdeenshire’s food and drink Sector as a whole!!

Strawberry Season is in full flow at Raeburn’s, with Jane “The Strawberry Lady” from “Boutique Farm Bothies” Drumblade, now giving us daily deliveries of her “lovingly home grown” and “carefully hand picked” strawberries!!

We personally think this year’s berries are the best she has grown yet……simply delicious!!!
