I’m watching Marcus Waring in Provence on tv,have you ever had our red rice salad ? Well it only comes from one place in Provence and that’s exactly where Marcus is.
I’ve made this particular salad for probably 15 years or more it has carrots,chilli,lime,olive oil and honey as well as peppers and spring onion.i knew it was from the Carmargue but I’ve just learnt about its history tonight.

A bit like myself..a simple tea tonight
Whole Prawns in chilli,homemade ( by my sister )bread with chives from my garden,chilli alioli ( sainsbury's) which is served in a dip dish that my sister also made...served of course with a glass of something chilled.

Good morning folks,yesterday you certainly kept us busy with fish sales,we sold out of a few things quite quickly …so I got thinking and thought 💭
I wonder if our fabulous customers would like to share what they do with their fish and pop a photo over to us,I’ve looked back and I’m popping a few below.
My go to quick and easy recipe is prawn and Prosecco linguine.

What a lovely start to the day..let's hope it's stays sunny warm and dry as we have lots displayed outside of the shop today....see our special offer today,it has changed since yesterday as fruit prices are up and down and we do pass that discount on to you.

Fish...
We have some fabulous fish caught off the shores of Shetland Inc cod,haddock,mussles and lemon sole
The Halibut is from North Shields
Loch Duart salmon...which in my opinion you can't beat so guess what I'm having this weekend.
Frozen prawns are back in stock including the large deveined raw king prawns,beautiful in a pasta or gnocchi dish.
If you're unsure how to cook your fish just ask the staff who will no doubt have totally different recipe ideas....

You're keeping us busy little bees today...im running on coffee at the minute...and there's only enough left for one cuppa and I'm having it 🤣🤣
Lots of orders going out,sausage rolls,more quiche than I can shake a stick at,steak pies galore and Northumberland chilli chees scones are just out the oven
