Even on a day away from Morgan's, Amy can't resist stopping to make a few new woolly friends!

For us, butchery has always been about so much more than what's behind the counter. It's about the animals, the farmers who care for them and understanding where our food comes from.

Sometimes you have to remember that behind the family business is an actual family!

We spend so much time working together that it’s lovely to get away from the shop, switch off (well, try to! 😂) and just enjoy some family time.

Because as much as we love Morgan’s, making memories together is just as important. ❤️

✨ Amy has been nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year at the Womanifest Awards 2027! 🥳💗

Running a small family business means wearing a LOT of different hats, and over the past few years Amy has helped drive Morgan’s forward through new ideas, collaborations, events and our work to make traditional retail more accessible and inclusive.

To have that journey recognised with an Entrepreneur of the Year nomination means so much particularly when so much of what happens behind the scenes of a small business is rarely seen.

Owning your own business and going on holiday… 😂☀️

1,939 miles away from Morgan’s, but apparently the business came with us!

Over 100 emails, Christmas orders, suppliers, payroll, staffing and future collaborations… all while supposedly taking a break. 🫣

I’m sure plenty of independent business owners can relate, sometimes there really is no “out of office” when it’s your own business!

Scapa is taking his new role very seriously and is more than happy to personally inspect every bag of festive treats that comes through the door.

We’re not entirely convinced he understands that “quality checking” doesn’t mean eating the stock though… 👀
