🐴 Meet Merlin 🐴

We finally gave in and got the girls their own pony! Meet Merlin, a lovely little hairy coloured cob who has already settled in brilliantly on the farm.

He’s also become great friends with Fred, and the two of them can usually be found together causing mischief and enjoying plenty of attention.

If you’re coming to our Pop-Up Shop this Saturday, 27th June, keep an eye out for Merlin in the field. We’re pretty sure he’ll be somewhere near the gate, hoping for extra fuss and perhaps even an apple or two from Nathan at his fantastic fruit and vegetable stand! 🤭🍎

🐑🌾 Our farm pop-up shop is back this Saturday! 🌾🐑

Here are our counters from last month’s pop-up shop on the farm, packed with fresh, local produce and fantastic products from local businesses.

If you haven’t visited us before, why not pop along this Saturday, 27th June, from 9am–3pm?

Did you know we have a Pop Up Shop on the farm this Saturday, 27th June, from 9am–3pm? 🐑🛍️

Today we’ve been busy shearing sheep… because apparently the sheep aren’t keen on modelling their summer wool collection this year. 😅

One minute we’re farmers, the next we’re butchers, shopkeepers, delivery drivers, accountants, social media managers and now apparently a PR department too! 😂

So while we’re chasing sheep around the field, we’re also trying to remind everyone about our Pop Up Shop this Saturday.

Come along for our home-produced lamb, pork and beef, stock up your freezer, have a chat, and support a small family farm

Look at the size of this chap! You can tell he wasn’t easy to lamb as his head and eyes are swollen. This swelling will have gone done by tomorrow and he will look completely different.

Gelston Lamb racks were on the menu at the Syston Park Farm Shop and CafeShop & Café last Saturday, and they looked absolutely fantastic!

If you haven’t experienced one of their Supper Club evenings yet, it’s definitely worth adding to your list. Held just once a month, these events are incredibly popular and often book up quickly, but trust us, they’re well worth the wait.

A huge thank you to the team at Syston Park for showcasing our quality produce and creating such a great dining experience. We’re always proud to see Gelston Lamb featured on menus like this.
