After a rare night out for my wife and I and joining us were my wife’s daughter and her boyfriend, we were reflecting on the drive home on the last time we went for a meal where everything was just so perfect.

The last time Mrs R and myself were at our destination last night was when it was called Rumbling Tums and we used to go there for breakfast, where two ladies did a fantastic simple fry up with a few alternatives.

Now what a change!

The team at wilder_kitchen have done a fantastic job in a tiny space!.

10/10 on atmosphere, service, pricing and oh my the food!!!.

Every bite was a revelation and just a credit to the guys, I have never had a Thali, if you haven’t had one you need to get yourselves in there it was delicious!.

You could tell it was cooked with a love of food and fresh ingredients in every bite! (the strawberry cheese cake was delicious and even had a cheeky few of our local strawberries!).

We think we have just found a new one to add to our list for when we do get a night out!.

If you haven’t been, get yourselves in there, you will not be disappointed!.

Mrs R, Daisy, Big Coops (the labs) and myself have been travelling around West Cornwall this afternoon picking up some of the finest Cornwall has to offer in the way of produce!.

As a little taster, guess what we will be having for tea tonight!

Those potatoes just need a wash, straight in the pan with some salted water, drain, onto the plate with lashing of salted butter (don’t tell Mrs R though, I would never get to eat anything I like as it’s unhealthy apparently!).

Of course you can cook them many different ways, but no matter how you cook them, you can taste the freshness of these delicious Cornish news.

The bunch carrot are sweet, actually taste of carrot, you know what I mean!.

Dug up today, into the shop tomorrow.

Both these little beauties will be available from 8am at Mr Ragamuffins, Falmouth!.

Good morning, happy bank holiday!,

We are open today, 10-4, we only have limited stock as no delivery today, but we still have a good range of products including vegetables, fruit, dairy and eggs etc.

Some free range chicken and grass fed beef available from the fridge.

So much going on this weekend in Falmouth!.

To help celebrate a great tradition, given the gorgeous bank holiday weather tomorrow (so you guys keep telling me!), we will be having a strawberry and clotted cream stand outside our shop tomorrow.

From 10am get your Rodda clotted cream and local Cornish strawberries fix outside Mr Ragamuffins in a little pot for you to enjoy.

The shop will also be open both Sunday and Monday over the bank holiday.

Local, tasty and low food miles, and the calories don’t even count!.

How stunning are these?.

We are in mid season for Cornish strawberries.

Just collected from the grower down here in West Cornwall.

160 punnets of the finest strawberries, with another 200 on Friday ready for our strawberries and cream stand in front of the shop for the Falmouth Food Festival and bank holiday weekend.

Field to shop in under 12hrs, less than 17 miles and collected in an electric van!

Did you miss out on our lovely local strawberries?.

Good news, the pickers will be picking in the morning, I’ll be collecting around 10.30 and into the shop for 11.30am, picked and delivered into the shop in less than 4 hours.

Delicious local Cornish strawberries straight from farm to shop in an electric van, low food miles and EV too!.

I will also be collecting fresh flowers from flowersbyclowance at the same time, so a full array of flowers straight into the shop around 11.30 as well.

We also have our usuals produce from around Cornwall and a fresh delivery of the exotic s d wonderful tomorrow morning from around 9.30am.

We open at 8am as usual tomorrow.
