It’s a Triple whammy this weekend for us to inform you.

First and foremost. With these storms over the weekend ourselves, Brixham and the surrounding areas had a vast majority of boats come in and land their fish so we have forward planned and have plenty of beautiful goodies and some back ups to start next week with. So even though the weather isn’t fintastic we have tried our best to keep you all in with your favourites but please understand if we haven’t got exactly what you needed at the end of the weekend.

Secondly, with the clocks going back and a darker quieter days ahead of us we are falling into our winter hours.

OPEN EVERYDAY UNTIL 4pm.

We will still be here 7days a week (and Sundays)! This just allows our amazing team to have just a glimpse of daylight at home per day and a chance to spend that extra hour with their families, pick the kids up or go fishing 😏 it’s great for morale, their mental health and they deserve it after all the hard work the always put in year round.

3rd and final don’t forget it’s Christmas coming up so grab an order book and get thinking 🧐.

Well you could say the fish are flying in today , it's a bright blustery here on the point but worth the trek . Also out to sea, the white horses are impressive.We've stocked up for the weekend so don't panic . Bonito , Brill , Lobsters, Megrims , Dory , Wings, Coles and loads more

Hot off the press is our Christmas order forms. Pop in to grab one for you, your family, friends or someone you care for.

Have a browse and decide what you want for this festive period.

As always we have tried to keep things simple.

Fill out your details,
What day you want to collect,
your order,
any preparation on fresh fish.

Return the booklet to us (we always advise keeping a list of what you want so you don’t forget) then relax. Our special elves will take care of the whole thing all you have to do is collect and pay.

The same applies for New Year’s Eve.

Our cut off for all orders over this period is Friday 18th December. Then we will be back to normal January 6th 2027!

We are delighted to receive an email from the national federation of fishmongers, giving us an Award of excellence - their highest level of recognition for this year. 🥳

What a lovely way to mark 10years too!

Impressed by our strength of connection to the local fishing industry, skills within our team, bringing chefs and fishmongers together, our commitment to continue to improve our professional standards and most of all our relationship with our amazing customers and the local community.

Obviously all of us here love what we do in the shop and take great pride in what we produce. However it’s having a great customer base and all of your support that keeps us going and makes it all worth while. So a big thank you to all of you, and of course a big thank you to the national federation of fishmongers.

To celebrate such an occasion we have splashed out and have gained a bluefin tuna! Steve has been like a pig in mud and broken down this beauty this morning.

We have some belly, loins, collars and someone has snatched up the cheeks and eyes already.

The naked frame is going off to a local fisherman for bait and pots and so completes the full circle of using every piece. No waste means it’s all worth it!

Some will be available for now and some we will squirrel away for a rainy day. 🍱 🍣

Remember this weekend we will be rolling back some prices and entering all customers over the weekend into a raffle to win platters, ready meals, vouchers and more.
