A little natter 💭 👇

If you know the people behind Easter Greens, then you know already that Halloween is our Ivy’s favourite time of year. They put their little spooky touches here and there ( you might notice our resident bell bat 🦇) we usually have a pumpkin 🎃 painting party where you get to vote for your favourite and they always put in so much effort.
And we also do an annual trend video with multiple actors, grim reapers……. but this year it just hasn’t happened.

ALAS we improvise.

This is tribute to you Ivy…

I hope you have enjoyed the Halloween theme on our posts and videos this month.
Happy Halloween 👻

Psssst…… we have sooooo many goodies/ sweeties/ munchy things for all your spooky plans, so make sure to grab something this weekend :)

👻Easter Greens scary short stories Part 3!

See pinned comment for the text 📍

As Halloween approaches we will be telling you a bit about why we don’t stock animal products in our wee plant based grocery store. Nothing too graphic, nothing
completely outrageous, just a wee short, digestible explanation.

Next up FISH - “fish are friends not food” - Bruce, Chum & Anchor - the sharks very own support group on Finding Nemo.

Did you know that over 50% of ocean plastic/pollution is from the commercial fishing industry? All those micro plastics in the ocean and the fish eat them, then humans eat them….. yikes!

If you haven’t already tried - we recommend TUNO brand of chunks, tofu, chickpeas, jackfruit or banana blossom.

QUINCE 🌟

Core and slice them thinly, then toss the slices in a little agave and a squeeze of lemon.

Roast at 200°C (180°C fan) for about 20–25 minutes, until they’re golden and tender.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and a pinch of chili for a sweet-spicy kick!

Serve it warm with yoghurt or as an accompaniment for a cheeseboard!

YUMMY!
