🌿 A little update from Walmer Court Farm Shop! 🌿

Just a heads-up that we'll be taking a few days off next week for a family wedding! 💍🥂

The farm shop will be closed from Tuesday 20th to Friday 23rd October, but we'll be back open as usual from 9am on Saturday 24th October! 🍎🥕

📦 VEG BOX CUSTOMERS: Our usual Thursday deliveries will be moved to Saturday 24th October for next week only. Everything will be back to normal the following week!

Thank you all so much for your understanding and continued support. We're looking forward to a few days of celebrations before getting back to all things fruit and veg! 🥦❤️

🥕 PLEASE SIR, CAN I HAVE SOME MORE? 🥕😂

Despite being fed twice a day, having a warm bed, endless cuddles and quite possibly the easiest job in the world, Georgia would like everyone to believe she is a starving Victorian orphan. 🥺

Her latest tactic involves sitting by the carrots, looking desperately into customers’ eyes and convincing them she hasn’t eaten since 1842.

Unfortunately, her performance has been rather successful, and we’re beginning to suspect she’s eating more of our stock than we’re selling. 😂

So, whilst Georgia strongly disagrees with this announcement, we’re asking our lovely customers to go a little easier on the carrot donations. 🥕

She assures us she is being terribly mistreated and will be taking the matter up with management.

Management would like to confirm she is absolutely fine.

Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.

Love from everyone at Walmer Court Farm Shop (except Georgia, who’s furious). 🐾❤️

We’ve had a few people pop into the shop recently and say they’ve heard a little rumour that Walmer Court Farm Shop might be closing… 👀

So we thought we’d better clear that one up!

We’re not closing, and we have absolutely no plans to! ❤️

We’re still here, still going strong and looking forward to plenty more years of fresh fruit & veg, local produce, veg boxes and seeing all of our lovely customers.

We’re not quite sure where the rumour has come from, but we really appreciate everyone who has checked in with us.

So please feel free to spread the word — Walmer Court Farm Shop isn’t going anywhere! 🥕🍎🥦

Thank you, as always, for supporting our little family business. It genuinely means a lot to us. ❤️

So what’s the difference between your milk and supermarket milk? … 👇
Part 1

Our milk is only pasteurised

Supermarket milk is pasteurised, homogenised & fat standardised

In our milk, the cream rises to the top - you don’t get that with supermarket milk because homogenising is the process that breaks up the fat molecules so they’re suspended within the milk and no longer rise to the top.

Follow for part 2 of the differences.
