We are a locally-run historic garden located in Cromarty on the Black Isle.we open every Tuesday from 11am - 3pm and by appointment

The Walled Garden, Cromarty is attached to the 18th century historic house, Cromarty House, built by George Ross, as are many of the historic buildings in Cromarty. In 2014 Emma took up residence in Cromarty and started on the major task of restoring the walled garden back into a productive fruit and vegetable garden with the help of the Nightingale Family, Johnny Pocock and his team, Stone Landsc

apes, numerous Workaway volunteers and more recently part time gardener Derek Welton. In 2021 it is hoped that a WRAG (work and retrain as a gardener) apprentice will join the team.

Thank you to everyone who came to the Cromarty Community Market on Saturday …. All (garden) will be open today from 12 noon to 3 pm. Bring your own bags. Payment is by card there is lots to pick. Spinach, Swiss Chard, leeks, beetroot, potatoes, rocket, squash etc….. if you want some quiz, just ask Derek and he will get them for you…..
