From the boat to the board 🐟🦪

Join us at on Wednesday 14th October at 11am for a free fish and shellfish demonstration, part of this year’s Crieff Food & Drink Festival.

Our fishmonger will show you how to fillet both flat fish and round fish. Flat fish like plaice and lemon sole give four delicate fillets, and round fish like haddock and sea bass give two. Then we move on to shellfish, shucking fresh oysters and opening and cleaning hand-dived scallops. Bring your questions and your curiosity, and go home ready to take on the freshest Scottish catch yourself.

Pop into the shop to register your interest and we’ll keep a spot for you.
