Crewe Makers Market Returns This Saturday with New Day and Free Family Activities
The Crewe Makers Market is back, and it’s launching an exciting new chapter this weekend by moving to a Saturday, following strong feedback from the local community.
Organisers have listened carefully to residents and visitors, with the change designed to make the market more accessible for everyone. With full bus services running and a more convenient weekend schedule, the new Saturday market aims to welcome even more people into the town centre.
Adding to the excitement, Crewe Town Council is supporting the event by providing free children’s face painting, making it an even more inclusive, family-friendly day out.
The first Saturday market will take place this weekend:
* Date: Saturday 2nd May
* Time: 10am – 4pm
* Location: Victoria Street & Market Street, Crewe
Visitors can expect a vibrant day filled with independent traders, artisan goods, and entertainment for all ages.
Highlights include:
* Live music throughout the day from Jack Hamilton
* A free children’s craft station
* A wide variety of street food, including Chefsey Africana and Street Ltd
* Dozens of local makers offering handmade gifts, artisan products, and sweet treats
The event remains dog-friendly and family-friendly, offering something for everyone, whether you’re shopping, eating, or simply enjoying a lively day in the town centre.
We’re thrilled to bring the Makers Market back to Crewe on a Saturday. This change comes directly from community feedback, and we hope it makes the market more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. With free activities for children and an incredible line-up of traders, it’s set to be a fantastic day for the whole town.
