Corsham is officially entering the race to become the first-ever UK Town of Culture 2028!
Inspired by the City of Culture scheme, this is a new competition to show the whole of the UK why you are proud of your town.
The winning town will receive £3 million to deliver a cultural programme for local people across 2028, enabling them to invest in their local area, create a lasting sense of pride for their town, and provide opportunities for people to engage with the arts.
We are already working with Pound Arts, Bath Spa University (who have a campus at Corsham Court), Corsham Library, local businesses and other stakeholders. Now we need your opinions and ideas to help shape our application!
You can either fill in our survey online at the link below, or fill out a paper copy at the Town Hall, the Pound, Corsham Library, Corsham Toyshop, the Tourist Information Centre and Wadswick Green.
We need survey responses to be completed by Sunday 8 March.
