๐ฎ ๐ฅ From cows to chicks, itโs all go at Farm2Fork right now!
With the arrival of our third batch of chicken chicks this week, the brooder is busier than ever, sitting alongside this yearโs turkey poults as they settle into their warm, safe surroundings. Out in the fields, our lambs are growing fast and making the most of the lush spring grass.
Late spring and early summer are some of the busiest times of the year on the farm. New arrivals need constant care and attention, while the rest of the livestock continue to thrive as the days get longer and warmer.
Our hardworking Maremma guardian dogs are also in their element, keeping a watchful eye over the chicks, goslings and poults. Bred specifically to protect livestock, they play a vital role in ensuring our young birds stay safe while they grow.
From the lambs in the fields to the chicks in the brooder, every corner of the farm is full of life, and itโs a fantastic reminder of just how rewarding this time of year can be. ๐ฑ๐๐ฅ
